बनाना चॉकलेट कपकेक

अनेकप्रसंगी घरी केळी शिल्लक राहतात आणि मग ह्या जास्त पिकलेल्या केळ्यांचे काय करावे हे समजत नाही. अशावेळी तुम्ही ‘बनाना चॉकलेट कपकेक’ तयार करू शकता, जे निश्चितच सर्वांना आवडतील.

तयार करण्यासाठी लागणारा वेळ १०-१२ मिनिट बेकींगसाठीचा कालावधी २० मिनिट

साधारण १८-२० कपकेक तयार होतात


जास्त पिकलेली केळी ३

वितळलेले बटर १/२ वाटी

पिठी साखर १/२ वाटी

व्हेनिला इसेन्स १ चमचा

मैदा २ कप

बेकिंग पावडर १/२ चमचा

अंडी २

दूध ४ चमचे

चॉकलेट चिप्स १/२ कप


ओव्हन २२० C तापमानाला प्रिहिट करावा. केळ्यांची साल काढून चांगले कुचकरून घ्यावे.

मिक्सिंगच्या भांड्यात वितळलेले बटर, साखर आणि व्हेनिला इसेन्स चांगले घोटून घ्यावे.

यात कुस्करलेल्या केळ्याचा गर घालून चांगले ढवळून एकत्र करावे.

एका भांड्यात अंडी फेटून त्यात हे केळ्याचे मिश्रण घालावे. नंतर दूध घालून चांगले ढवळावे.

आता मैदा, बेकिंग सोडा आणि बेकिंग पावडर यात घालून चांगले एकत्र करावे आणि सर्वात शेवटी चॉकलेट चिप्स घालावेत.

तयार झालेले हे मिश्रण कपकेकच्या भांड्यांमध्ये दोनतृतियांश इतके भरावे.

ओव्हनमध्ये २० मिनिटांपर्यंत बेक करावे. कपकेकमध्ये टूथपिक घालून ते तयार झाले आहेत की नाही ते पडताळून पाहावे. जर का टूथपिकला केक न लागता ती बाहेर आली, तर कपकेक तयार झाले आहेत असे समजावे.

ओव्हनमधून बाहेर काढून जरा थंड होऊ द्यावेत. थंड झाल्यावर थोड्यावेळाने सर्व्ह करावेत.

Spicy Crunchy Appe

A delicious way to use leftover Idli batter!

A crisp and delicious shallow fried snack made with leftover idli batter

Kuzhi Paniyaram / Appe / Punganalu is a South Indian snack. Originally from Chettinad.

It is often made with leftover slightly sour Idli batter. It is usually served as a snack at breakfast (or tiffin – as popularly termed in South India).

It is made in both sweet and savory versions, with the savory version being the more popular one.

Prep time – 10 min
Cooking time – 15 min


2 cups Idli batter

3 Tbsp -Fresh coriander, chopped

2 -3 Green chili, chopped

1.5 Tsp -Ginger, chopped(optional)

8- 10 – Curry leaves, chopped

2 Tsp Cooking oil

1 Tsp Mustard seeds / Rai

1 Tsp White lentil / Urad daal

1/4 Tsp Asafoetida / Hing

A pinch of Fruit salt / Eno


Heat oil in a small pan.

Add mustard seeds and white lentil/urad daal in the oil.

When seeds start crackling add green chili, asafoetida, and curry leaves.

Now add this tempering in the idli batter .

Also add finely chopped onions, tomatoes, dhania to Idli batter.

It should be dropping consistency .

Adjust salt and Mix well .

Add eno just before preparing.

Heat appe pan and drizzle few drops of oil in the pan.

Fill the holes with about a Tbsp of prepared batter.

Cover with a lid and let it cook on medium heat till sides become golden.

Now drizzle some oil on the top of the paniyaram/appe.

Turn the side with a fork or skewer stick and cook till it become golden from the bottom.

Serve hot with fresh Nariyal chutney!

Butter chicken

Punjabi murgh makhani known as Indian butter chicken has gained much popularity across the globe.

Paired with naan or kulcha is a delight which most Indians love during their restaurant visits

I have made this countless number of times since kids have a special liking towards it .

Butter Chicken

Servings 4

Prep Time 10 Minutes

Cook Time 40 Minutes


For Marination

500 Gms chicken

1 Tsp Red chilli powder

1 Tsp Ginger and garlic paste

Salt to taste

1 cup Curd

For the Gravy

150 Gms White butter

1/2 Tsp Black cumin seeds

Puree of 3-4 Tomatoes

1/2 Tsp Sugar

1 Tsp Red chilli powder

Salt to taste

100 Gram Fresh cream

4 Green chillies

1/2 tsp Fenugreek leaves (crushed)

Procedure for Marination

In a mixing bowl, mix red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt and curd, whisk well.

Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well.

Cover the bowl and Keep it in the refrigerator overnight or 5- 6 hours.

Roast the marinated chicken in a tandoor or an oven or in a pan for about 10-12 minutes until it is three-fourth done.

Procedure for chicken gravy

Heat half the quantity of white butter in pan.

Pour tomato puree in it , and saute for 5-7 minutes.

Add cumin seeds, sugar, red chilli powder and salt, Mix well.

Add the prepared chicken, remaining white butter, sliced green chillies and crushed fenugreek leaves. Saute for 3-4 minutes and let the chicken cook till done.

Add fresh cream , mix and cook 1-2 min.

Switch off the flame.

Garnish with chopped coriander and fresh cream .

Serve hot with rice or naan.

Cheese Balls

Cheese Balls is a starter that always tops the charts! It is a great hit with everybody.

Preparation Time 10 min.

Cooking Time 15 min. Makes 35 balls approx.

Ingredients 1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese

3/4 cup fresh bread crumbs

2 1/2 Tbsp cornflour

1 Tbsp maida

2 Tsp finely chopped fresh green chillies

1/2 Tsp Black pepper powder

1 Tbsp finely chopped coriander

1 Tbsp roughly chopped mint leaves

salt to taste

Oil for deep-frying


Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl mix very well.

Sprinkle some water if needed (approx. 1-2 Tbsp)

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape , each portion into a small size ball.

Heat the oil and deep-fry balls on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. (few balls at time)

Drain on an absorbent paper.

Serve hot with sauce or chutney.

Macaroni Cheese Recipe

Cook Time 30 MinutesIngredients

250 gm macaroni pasta

40 gm butter

40 gm plain flour or maida

600 ml milk

250 gm grated cheddar

50 gm grated parmesan cheese


Cook the macaroni in a large saucepan of boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes; drain well and set aside.

Melt the butter over a medium heat in a saucepan slightly larger than that used for the macaroni.

Add the flour and stir to form a roux, cooking for a few minutes.

Gradually add the milk, a little at a time and whisk.

Cook for 10-15 minutes to a thickened and smooth sauce.

Meanwhile, preheat the grill .

Remove the sauce from the hob, add 175 gm of the cheese and stir until the cheese is well combined and melted.

Add the macaroni to the sauce and mix well.

Transfer to a deep suitably-sized ovenproof dish.

Sprinkle over the remaining cheddar and the Parmesan and place the dish under the hot grill.

Cook until the cheese is browned and bubbling.

Serve straightaway.

बेसनपीठ . . . . . . . .   १ वाटी

सोडा . . . . . . . . . . .    चिमूटभर


ब्रेड च्या कडा काढून टाका .

हिरवी चटणी बनवून घ्या , त्यासाठी कोथींबीर , हिरव्या मिरच्या , मीठ व २-३ ब्रेडच्या कडा व थोडे पाणी टाकून मिक्सर मधून वाटून घ्या .

त्याचप्रमाणे बीट व  मीठ पण बारीक वाटून घ्या .

आता ब्रेड स्लाइसला एका बाजूला बटर लावा. सर्व स्लाइसला बटर लावून घ्या .

आता एका बटर साइड स्लाइसला हिरवी चटणी . दुसऱ्या बटर स्लाइसला बिटरूट चटणी लावून त्यावर प्लेन स्लाइस लावा. यानुसार दोन्ही सँडविचेस तयार ठेवा .

एका भांड्यात बेसनपीठ , मीठ व चिमूटभर सोडा टाकून प्रमाणात पाणी घालून भज्यासारखे पीठ भिजवा . तळणासाठी तेल तापवा, बेसन पिठात सँडविचेस बूडवून तळून घ्या . त्रिकोनी आकारात कापून गरमच सर्व्ह करा .



Stuffed Capsicum is a real delicacy.

It can be serve as a appetizers or snack.

The stuffed capsicum with cheesy pasta will make a great addition to  your dinner table.
Every bite of juicy, cheesy makes you fall in love with it.

Pasta makes it more delectable and yummier.
Grated cheese added at the top gives you a cheesy bite.

This is the easiest and tastiest preparation.
Kids will definitely love this.
CAPSICUM                                             250 gm
MOZZARELLA CHEESE                      100 gm
PASTA                                                      100 gms
RED CHILLI SAUCE                              1 Tb spoon
GREEN CHILLI SAUCE                         1 Tb spoon
SALT                                                          As per taste
GARLIC BREAD HERBS                       As per required
PEPPER POWDER                                  1/2 T spoon
BUTTER                                                     1 Tb spoon
Boil the pasta until soft.

Keep aside. Take a capsicum and chop off its cap and remove all the seeds inside the Capsicum.
You can either use a whole Capsicum or slice the capsicum in half.

Rinse them in water and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
Apply butter inside the Capsicum and keep aside.

Now in bowl take boiled pasta.

Add Red Chili Sauce, Green Chili Sauce, Pepper powder, Herbs and Salt.


Mix it gently.


Preheat the oven, and grease a baking tray with butter.

Stuff the Pasta mixture into the Capsicum.

Place a layer of grated cheese on it.(For calorie conscious people can be use Paneer in place of cheese)


Bake the Capsicum in the oven until you notice the cheese melted and colored little browned.


You know it is ready.
Remove from the oven and arrange it on a Platter.

The Cheesy Capsicum can be prepared ahead for the parties and grilled only when you are ready to serve it.
