Potato and Peas Sandwich is perfect for Sunday breakfast. Its healthy and easy to make. My kids all time favourite snack.
250 gms Potatoes
¼ cup Peas
2 tsp Ginger, Garlic and Green Chilly paste.
1 tsp Astafodia
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Red Chilly powder
1 tsp Garam masala
2 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Butter
8 slices of Bread
4 Cheese slices
Salt to taste
Heat Oil in a pan. Add Astafodia , Ginger-Garlic and Green Chilli paste sauté it for 2 min. add finely chopped Onion, when colour changes and its become redish add finely chopped Tomato,
peas sauté it for 2 min. Add Turmeric powder, Red Chilly powder , Garam masala , Salt and mix it, Finally add roughly smashed boiled Potatoes
Turn off the flame and mix all material properly. Bring this material to room temperature.
Apply Butter on Bread slice. Spread stuffing on slice
If you like place Cheese slice on it,and cover it with other slice. Grill it in Toaster till it turns golden.
Serve Hot with Tomato Ketchup.
