Hello everyone,

Today I’am here to make Haribhari Chicken Biryani

In many household’s Chicken is prepared as there Sunday Special Lunch…

So I just thought why not to give a kick by preparing something new and interesting instead of making the traditional  old stuff  curry chapati and plain rice….

 

Ingredients

RICE —1/2 kg.

SPINACH –2 bunch

BONELESS CHICKEN —1/2 kg

GHEE– 2 Tb spoon

JEERA– 1 Tb spoon

SALT — To Taste

GREEN CHILLY– 5-6

GARLIC-GINGER– 1 Tb spoon

BLACKPEPPER —10 nos

ONION— 3medium size)

CORIANDER 

TENDER COCONUT —small piece ( 2 Inch in size approx. 40 gm)

VINEGAR– 2 Tb.spoon

GREEN CHILLY SAUCE —2 Tb.spoon

LEMON —1 no

BAY LEAF– 2 leaves ( Tez Patta)

GARAM MASALA —2 T spoon

METHOD

Blanch the SPINACH , grind it with green chillies, ginger-garlic  and keep it aside

Grind coriander and small piece of tender coconut.  This  paste will be used to marinate the Chicken.

In a bowl take boneless chicken, marination paste, a Tb spoon spinach paste,salt. Mix it well and cover it tightly, and refrigerate it for a hour.

In a pan heat ghee add jeera, black pepper and clove, add rice saute it,add spinach paste and add water as per requirement.

Every grain of rice should be separated. When its cooked keep aside for cooling,after its cool add lemon juice and mix it.

In a heavy bottom pan heat oil, add bay leaf, fry onions till it becomes golden.  ( keep half fried onion aside for garnishing) add  marinated chicken and fry it well till its colour changes.

Now add salt and garam masala powder. Add little water, cover it for 10 to 15 min. Check it whether it is properly cooked. Then add green chilli sauce,vinegar mix it.

Add cooked spinach rice mix it well add coriander.

Serve it hot with curd and onion and enjoy the meal.

For vegetarians…

The pure vegetarians too can enjoy this taste by simply substituting chicken with Paneer, Potatoes or  Soybean…

Just to taste the same..
